As we celebrate the CLUB’S CENTENNIAL OF 100 YEARS OF PRIDE one cannot help but admire the outstanding contributions by the team’s many loyal fans and supporters. Our Saskatchewan Roughriders are truly the team the Fans Built.
To help commemorate the 100 Years of Pride and further appreciate the Club’s patrons and fans we felt it appropriate for 2010 to add a SECOND SPECIAL EXTRA CENTENNIAL PRIZE OF $100,000.00 CASH. That’s right; instead of awarding just one feature prize of $100,000.00 we will award TWO SPECIAL PRIZES OF $100,000.00 CASH.
Overall this year’s Touchdown Lottery 2010 features a record 1,257 Major Prizes valued in excess of an incredible $1,670,800.00 as described elsewhere in this site.
In addition to our two special $100,000.00 prizes, we feature 14-2010 Nissan Vehicles, 2 Sport Boats, a Spyder Roadster, a Triumph Bonneville Rider commemorative Motor Cycle, 14 Grey Cup trips for two, plus many additional vacations trips and hundreds of other wonderful prizes.
Remember that your purchase of a ticket not only gives you an amazing chance to win (one major prize for every 23 tickets sold), but you will help contribute an additional $950,000.00 in net profits to your Saskatchewan Roughriders.
This tremendous annual support to the Friends of the Riders’ Touchdown Lottery has produced over $12.3 million in lottery net profits to the Club since the inception of the lottery in 1986. During the same period of time over $19.6 million in Touchdown Lottery Prizes have been awarded to the very best fans in the world with winners in 150 to 200 different communities annually.
Tickets remain at $100.00 each, or to reward our many multi - ticket purchasers we are also offering a 3-pack of tickets for $250.00 (a saving of $50.00 or $16.67 a ticket) or a 4-pack of tickets for $300.00 (a saving of $100.00 or $25.00 a ticket).
Remember that this Lottery often sells out before the Early Bird draw which is September 30, 2010, and features an additional 20 prizes including a 2010 Nissan 350Z Roadster Convertible, 1 Panasonic HD TV and 18 special Rider games (Edmonton with NHL, Calgary with NHL and Regina with Plaza of Honor).
